NSW Fair Trading invites you to attend a free Home Building Expo at Club Liverpool, 185 George Street, Liverpool on Thursday 9 November 2017, from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.

 

Topics that will be covered at the Expo include business improvement strategies; legislative changes; building regulatory requirements; plumbing reforms; building contracts and variations; dispute resolution; mediation services; compliance issues; home building licensing; home building compensation fund (home warranty insurance); asset protection; continuing professional development; work health & safety; long service entitlements; effective record-keeping; and industry associations.

 

The format of the Building Expos includes some PowerPoint presentations and several breaks to provide opportunities for the attendees to ask questions one-on-one with the service providers and industry experts.  Sandwiches and iced water will be available during the breaks.

 

Licensed builders and swimming pool builders will earn three (3) CPD points for their attendance, and their business partner (partnership licences) can also record 3 points for attending (up to a maximum of 4 points per annum).
